The “Ultra” is a beginners’ instrument from Harder & Steenbeck. The double-action instrument is available in two versions as a flow or suction system. The Ultra is equipped with a 2 ml cup and fine 0.2 mm nozzle. The instrument can also be optionally expanded with a 0.4 mm nozzle and a larger 5 ml cup. The Ultra X is supplied with a 0.4 mm nozzle and enables direct connection of paint bottles to the suction connection. Both instruments offer an optimum price/performance ratio and the high quality expected of Harder & Steenbeck.
Expert Review: There should be no hesitation in picking up an Ultra. A Harder Steenbeck quality airbrush for less than $100? Ah, yes please; add to cart. Ok, so yes it is rather stripped down compared to the Infinity but hey are you really going to use that distance cap thing anyway? All the fundamentals are there including a 0.2mm needle/nozzle combination in the gravity-feed model. Cup sizes are interchangeable but limited to 2ml and 5ml. Perfect for beginners! Price Range $90 to $125.
